Carewatch provides over 160,000 hours of care every week to a range of people across the UK.

The needs and wants of people we meet vary from person to person from tasks that make life more manageable, to essential services vital to health and well being.

Carewatch provides the following services:

PRACTICAL SUPPORT

We provide assistance, reassurance, enablement and encouragement with the challenges of everyday life, and assist with activities such as light domestic tasks, shopping or cleaning. We are more than happy just being on hand supporting and befriending people who just need a little company every now and then. Carewatch can also be there at times of personal or family strain, such as hospital discharge, illness, or providing respite to unpaid carers.

PERSONAL CARE

Carewatch can also provide more personal care and support to people of all ages who require it. A helping hand with the daily demands of personal routine may be all it takes to greatly improve the quality of life for some people; we can undertake continence care and assistance with using the toilet, washing, dressing, bathing and getting up and going to bed at times that each person prefers,where possible.

SPECIALISED CARE

There are times when the care and support needed becomes more challenging and complex; we are able to work in partnership with specialist nurses, support workers, or other healthcare professionals. Regardless of the duration of care, be it hospital discharge, or people with long term multiple care and intense needs, Carewatch can provide families and individuals with the best care and support for the most challenging situations.

For many people living in their own homes, it is the emotional contact and support that underpins the more 'concrete' tasks we do that makes our work so important to them; enabling people to stay in their own homes, or giving people the confidence to get in touch with their local community are just a two examples of the outcomes we aim for.
