Mike Horgan
Mike is the Chief Operating Officer of Carewatch Care Services Ltd having spent 13 years with Nestor Healthcare, Carewatch’s previous owners.

His career spans senior board and non-executive positions at D2 Consulting, Nestor Healthcare Group, Ridgeway & Kingsway Personnel Services and the Adia/Adecco Group.

He has extensive experience within the recruitment, health and social care markets and a proven track record of business development, quality and process improvement and people management and development.

David Lyon
David  is the Chief Executive Officer of Carewatch Care Services Ltd and has over 18 years experience in health and social care

David was instrumental in rejuvenating and developing Clinovia, one of the UK’s leading home health and social care businesses, as COO and CFO between 2003 and 2006, when the company became part of BUPA.

He joined Nestor Healthcare in 1991 and was Group Finance Director from 1998 to 2003.  He was part of the senior management team that grew Nestor into a FTSE 250 company with a market cap of over £600m, growing pre-tax profits from £4m to over £33m.

After qualifying as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Whinney, he spent two years abroad with Price Waterhouse before returning to the UK where he worked at Whitbread’s headquarters in their corporate finance team until 1991.

Simon Overgage

Simon is a statutory director of, and shareholder in, Carewatch Care Services Ltd and its associated companies.  As Commercial Director, he covers a wide brief ranging from property and procurement through to operations and service delivery. In addition, he is registered as the Responsible Individual for company-owned operations.

Before joining Carewatch, Simon worked for Nestor Healthcare for 13 years as a senior manager, holding Operations, Systems and Managing Director roles in a number of Group companies, predominantly focussing upon health and social care services.

In his career, he has worked for GKN plc and Homeserve plc at manager and director level. Simon has an Honours Degree in English Literature from Swansea University and a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Martin Farrow

Martin Farrow is the Marketing Director for Carewatch and has been involved in the social and health sector for more than 16 years previously holding positions with hospital at home specialists Clinovia, Bupa and Sunrise Medical. His experience spans many areas including social care, primary and secondary healthcare and nursing homes.

Martin joined Carewatch in 2009 as part of the senior management team to develop new market opportunities and ensure that the Carewatch brand is recognised throughout the UK as the provider of choice for home care and support.

Paul Steadman

Paul worked for KPMG for 11 years where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

He has since worked in a commercial environment as financial controller for over 10 years, most recently at Bupa Home Healthcare, a company providing home healthcare.

Kevin Jezzard

Kevin Jezzard is the Director of IT for Carewatch and has been involved in the home healthcare market for the last 17 years previously holding positions with Caremark, Clinovia, Guardian homecare & Bupa.

His experience spans both IT and telecoms in a technical and project management capacity, from scope to implementation and working with strategic partners.

Kevin joined Carewatch in November 2009 as part of the senior management team to develop the IT and telecoms strategy
