Support for Families

Not only care at home, but support for the whole family

Living far away from an elderly relative, or trying to keep up with the demands of a career or kids when they need care and support can be a difficult time. Carewatch understand this and endeavor to make this an easier journey for you, so when you are not able to be there, we are your 'eyes and ears'.

Our home carers can regularly pop in to see your loved one, so even if there is not much call right now for care and support at home, any changes in health, or well being will be noticed.

The people we support, and their relatives often tell us that our care workers are making a huge difference in their lives and we take pride in our qualified, compassionate care and support workers who are often bringing people back to their 'old self' simply by listening, being a companion, and enjoying doing what they do.

How we support the whole family

We not only provide home care to our customers, we also help to support their families in a number of different ways, from:

  • Providing respite care so that you can take a break from caring responsibilities, or for when you go on holiday
  • Reassurance and support for families facing the loss of a loved one
  • Providing piece of mind by communicating with you when caring for your elderly relative (at request and agreement)
  • Dementia support for the whole family
  • Enabling independence for people with physical disabilities or learning disabilities
  • Supporting a loved one back to independent living following a stay in hospital
