Carewatch Care Services Ltd, the UK’s national provider of home-based care and support, announces a change to its management team structure as part of an ongoing strategy to promote growth and drive quality standards. Carol Vickers, former owner of recently acquired homecare company Always There, joins the ranks as Sales Director.

In addition to Carol’s appointment to the board, Joint Managing Director David Lyon becomes Chief Executive Officer, and fellow Joint Managing Director Mike Horgan assumes the position of Chief Operations Officer. Paul Steadman joins the main board as Finance Director whilst Simon Overgage, Commercial Director continues to drive the quality and training standard which has been integral to Carewatch’s success to date and has enabled the company to deliver results above those of the national comparator.  

The move will enable Carewatch to maintain and build upon its quality standards and incorporate Carol’s knowledge and experience which spans more than 14 years within the health and social care sector. Her appointment strengthens and compliments the Carewatch senior management team.

Carewatch delivers over 195,000 hours of care per week across the UK through its network of company-owned and franchise-operated offices, with a person-centred approach that has earned the company its rightful position as a market leader within its field.
