Alpha Homecare Ltd is part of the Carewatch family.

We are based in Standish which is near Wigan, and have been providing care at home services for 11 years to the service users of both Wigan Council and Lancashire County Council in addition to Hospitals, Prisons, Nursing Homes and Residential Care Homes, along with the Brothers of Charity.

We provide care services into the following areas:

We look after a range of service users providing personal care (help with getting dressed, washing, bathing etc) and home help services (cooking, cleaning, laundry etc).

We provide long-term care to meet a wide variety of needs, from light domestic help to 24-hour nursing of the terminally ill. We frequently take over the care of patients coming out of hospital who would prefer to be looked after at home rather than being discharged into residential care or nursing homes.

We also provide specialist care for those suffering from conditions such as multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. In addition, we can look after people who have suffered serious disabling injuries such as partial or total paralysis or amputation, as well as those with a lifelong disability, such as blindness.

 We also provide reablement/post operative care, respite care, palliative and end of life care.
