Carewatch Grampian
Since opening our doors in April 1997, Carewatch (Grampian) has continued to grow by providing a wide range of services to people in their own homes either privately, through Social Services, or NHS Grampian. Dividing the town into six areas, each with its own dedicated Supervisor and team of Care Workers, allows us to maintain a personal touch with both our Service Users and staff.
Through regular Service User and Care Worker Forum meetings we actively seek comment on our services and look constantly to review and improve our service delivery. All our Employees and Service Users are given and encouraged to use an “Opportunity for Improvement” form to tell us what they think.
Almost without exception every senior member of staff has been promoted from Care Worker. We place great emphasis on continuous training through the promotion of refresher courses, on the job training, regular staff meetings and skills enhancement through the development of various services. Our services cover everything from light domestic duties to palliative and end of life care. We fully subscribe to the aims of the Living and Dying well national action plan.
Our goal is constant improvement in the provision of our services for the benefit of our clients and to give outstanding support to our staff.
