Our team is based in Eastfield and we have been providing quality care in the home for Scarborough and the surrounding areas for many years. Our care ranges from practical support and personal care, to the more intensive needs that some require, and by providing care at home we help people to maintain their independence. We can help and support people who:

• are elderly and frail;
• have learning disabilities;
• have physical disabilities;
• have mental health needs;
• are an informal carer and need a break.

How can we help you?

Practical Support - We provide help, assistance, reassurance, enablement and encouragement with the challenges of everyday life, and assist with activities such as light domestic tasks, shopping or cleaning, that seems too much. We are more than happy to be on hand supporting and befriending those who just need some friendly company and a chat now and then. Carewatch can also be there at times of extra need and support such as returning home from hospital, coping with illness, or at times of personal or family strain.

Personal Care - Carewatch can also provide personal care and support to those of all ages who require it. A helping hand with the daily demands of personal routine may be all it takes to greatly improve the quality of life. Our staff can assist those who need it, with more personal things like getting in and out of bed, bathing and other intimate tasks.

Specialist Care - There are times when the care and support needed become more complex and challenging, or multiple types of care are required. Regardless of the duration of care - be it hospital release, palliative care, or those with long term multiple and intense needs, Carewatch can work alongside other agencies, with families and individuals to bring the best care and support to the most challenging situations.

Who will provide your home care?

All of our care workers are dedicated and passionate about what they do and proud of the quality of care they provide. Many care workers come into care after having looked after a loved one themselves. All staff receive a Criminal Records Bureau check and have to undergo our induction programme. They also have the opportunity to study and work towards a nationally recognised qualification in care, and many also go on to specialise in different areas.
