PAYING PRIVATELY

Many people may wish to organise care and support outside of social services, or 'top up' the amount of care they're allocated through government funding alone.

Carewatch are able to provide such care to people who may wish to pay for care for themselves, or pay on behalf of someone they care about. We can provide a range of support, from a 15 minute 'pop-in' call, to overnight stays - some of our offices also offer live-in care and support.

Each office will have a range of charges based on hourly rates - these rates will vary according to:

  • What time of day or night the care and support takes place
  • Whether the care or support falls on a public holiday
  • How long the care call lasts (this includes escorted visits outside the home - for example, visits to hospitals, social visits etc)
  • How many care workers it takes to do a call (sometimes certain tasks will need 2 people for safety reasons - these are called 'double up' calls)

The rates each office charge varies up and down the country - your nearest office will be able to provide with their rates.
