Carewatch (Swindon) provides care and support to people in their own homes or in nursing and residential homes, either directly or on behalf of the Local Authority.
We also provide support services for people with learning and physical disabilities and to other groups of people that require support of different kinds.
Whether you are looking to work in care, or looking for someone to provide care for you or a member of your family, this website provides information about the flexible care, support and job opportunities that we can offer.

The Wiltshire and Bath ILC offers a help line related to the disabled and elderly, as well as offering wheelchairs. Julie Hervin, a spokesman for the ILC, said: "The chairs are very useful to the person using it. They allow them to do a lot of things that they wouldn't otherwise be able to do. If they had a broken leg they wouldn't be able to get out without it. To be honest we were struggling before. Sometimes it is not too bad but over the summer there was quite a lot of juggling to make sure we had enough."
"I think it's a very good idea. It is saving the planet and it is helping people in the local community which is a better idea then sending out Christmas cards, which are only up for a couple of weeks and wheelchairs last a lot longer."
The new wheelchairs are heavy-duty pieces of equipment designed to be able to hold people who are more than 16 stone. Before the donation, ILC only had one heavy-duty wheelchair. To hire a wheelchair for the week costs £20, or £5 a day. Wheelchairs require a refundable deposit of £20. To contact the ILC call (01380) 871007.
