Carewatch Hartlepool staff raise money for Hartlepool hospice in 5k colour run

Carewatch Office Administrator Mary Mawson and Recruitment & Retention Officer Kayleigh Connolly have together raised £277 for Hartlepool Hospice, proving their care for the local community extends outside office hours!Kayleigh shows her dedication to raising money for the fantastic work carried out at Hartlepool Hospice, after participating in her tenth Moonlight Walk, this year raising £130 for the cause. The walk took place at the end of August starting at the Hartlepool College of Further Education heading all the way to Seaton Carew Golf Club and back.

Kayleigh comments “I participate in the walk every year, it’s about 5 miles in total and is for a fantastic cause. This year Jeanette Easton one our Carers joined me too”.

Mary was showered in paint as she participated in the Hartlepool & District Hospice colour run at Seaton Carew, rising £147 for participating in the 5K run.

“I walked most of it as I did it with my aging Aunty, I’d just had my hair dyed and was worried it would be pink and purple for the coming weeks!” comments Mary.
