Alzheimer Scotland needs everyone to make every step count for those living with dementia this autumn by taking part in one of their Memory Walk events across Scotland.

We at Carewatch Ayrshire will be getting out to stride, strut, saunter and stravaig to raise much needed funds for the 88,000 sufferers of dementia in Scotland, for their carers, their partners and their families. Everything raised will go to make sure that noone faces dementia alone.

Join us on World Alzheimer Day, Sunday 21 September 2014, for either of two great family friendly fun days at the Dean Castle Country Park, Kilmarnock and Douglas Hotel Gardens, Isle of Arran. These Memory Walks offer the opportunity to mark your support, fundraise and enjoy the beautiful scenic paths, plants, wildlife and rich history along the way as well as face painting and entertainment on the day!

The walks are a mile long and are suitable for people of all ages and physical abilities. There will be a £5 Registration Fee (Under 16s free) and a charge of £5 for a t-shirt (optional).

If you wish to join in then visit www.memorywalksscotland.org or email memorywalk@alzscot.org to find out more.
