Carewatch has made its pledge to Dementia Action Alliance (DAA), promising to maximise public awareness and take positive action

What is Dementia Action Alliance (DAA) ?

The Dementia Action Alliance (DAA) is a movement with the aim to bring about a society-wide response to dementia. DAA encourages and supports communities and organisations in England to take actions that enable people to live well with dementia, reducing the risks of crisis intervention.

The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers.

Carewatch has signed the National Dementia Declaration, pledging to help by being the ‘eyes and ears’ in the community, ensuring that we inform and help those who need it. Also to provide information to help those affected by dementia to help them to live well.
