Carewatch at the Great British Care Awards 23 September

The Great British Care Awards is a presitgous event, held every year to celebrate excellence in the care sector.

Nominations are sent in and finalists are picked from 21 categories across the UK.

We are delighted that Carewatch has 4 finalists in three regions:

Home Care Team Finalist & Care Coordinator Finalist (North)

The home care team at Carewatch Kendal showed excellence in helping service users during the Cumbria floods, even through their own homes were flooded. They continued their jobs and their only focus was to ensure their service users were safe.

Christine Lamb, Care Coordinator for Carewatch Kendal carried on ensuring there were Care workers to help everyone, even though she had heard that her own home was flooded. She said "there are more important things in life than my home."
