There are nearly 2 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of Britain's largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
For Britain's care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it's all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits. The Care Workers Charity helps current, former and retired workers on ‘their rainy day’ providing funds when required.
Six members of the Carewatch management team will be taking on a 75 mile cycle challenge from Rugby to Oxford on 28 September 2017
The Care Workers Charity, which helps support Care Workers when they have fallen on hard times is such a worthwhile cause, and one very near and dear to our hearts.
Carewatch will match all funds raised by the cyclists.
