West Berkshire Council has awarded Carewatch Reading the contract to deliver Extra Care services in Newbury.

The contract began at the end of August and involves delivering care and support services to people living in Audrey Needham House extra care scheme in Newbury.

Carewatch Head of Bids & Contracts, Kevin Nutt commented: “We’re delighted that we have been awarded by West Berkshire Council, we are committed to delivering a high quality personal, caring and supportive service to the individuals living at Audrey Needham House.”

Carewatch Reading is also creating 40 new jobs for Care and Support Workers working out in the community in the Reading area, as part of a recruitment drive to meet the increasing demands for home care services.
