We held a World's Biggest Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan, and for everyone to enjoy some socialising

All of our Wirral Home Care team are passionate about helping, and raising money for people with cancer as we see the affects of it often in our line of work.

Each year, Macmillan Cancer Support campaigns for people to raise funds and awareness by holding their own World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. We held one in our offices at Wirral, with lots of homemade cakes and goodies, as well as some games like ‘spot the cake’. Everyone paid for some cake and a cuppa.
Branch Manager, Tina Taylor says: “Our Macmillan cake and coffee day has been a great success. A massive Thank you to all our carers, customers and office staff who got behind us. We are so proud of our branch. Such a great supportive bunch always helping out. It was so lovely to see so many carers coming in today. Wish we could do this every day.”
“We have raised a massive £264.77 so far on cake sales. We still have more cakes left over. And our game ‘spot the cake’ still hasn’t finished. Once filled we will advise of the winner and the overall funds raised. But well done Carewatch Wirral . Absolutely fantastic couldn’t have done it without you.”
